SURABAYA - Persebaya Surabaya berhasil menjadi juara di turnamen persahabatan Unity Cup. Prestasi diraih setelah tim asal Jawa Timur ini mengalahkan Kelantan FA dengan skor 3-2. Persebaya unggul selisih gol 4-3.
Dalam pertandingan yang berlangsung di Gelora 10 November, Surabaya, Kamis (29/12/2011) malam WIB, Persebaya mencoba bermain menyerang pada babak pertama. Hasilnya, skuad besutan Divaldo Alves berhasil mengungguli Kelantan FA.
Pada menit 15, Persebaya berhasil unggul atas Kelantan FA. Gol tercipta setelah gelandang Andik meneruskan umpan silang mendatar, yang dilepaskan oleh rekannya Feri Ariawan. 1-0 Persebaya memimpin.
Tertinggal, Kelantan FC mencoba bangkit untuk menyamakan kedudukan. Namun, skuad besutan Peter Butler itu belum mampu membongkar pertahanan Persebaya, yang tampil cukup apik menjaga pemain Kelantan FA.
Beberapa menit menjelang pertandingan babak pertama berakhir, Persebaya kembali mendapatkan peluang untuk menambah keunggulan. Tapi, tandukan Fery masih melambung dari gawang Kelantan FA. Praktis, skor 1-0 bertahan hingga turun minum.
Kelantan FA mencoba untuk mengambil inisiatif serangan. Hasilnya, skuad asuhan Butler ini berhasil menyamakan kedudukan menjadi 1-1 lewat penyerang andalan mereka Norshahrul Talaha pada menit 49.
Berawal dari sebuah kemelut yang terjadi di depan gawang Persebaya, Norshahrul berhasil menceploskan bola ke gawang Endra Prasetya. Praktis, gol dari Kelantan FA ini sempat membuat terkejut pemain Persebaya.
Kendati demikian, Persebaya kembali berhasil memimpin dalam pertandingan ini lewat Feri pada menit 65. Berawal dari tendangan Andik yang mengenai pemain Kelantan, Feri dengan mudah menjebol gawang Khairul Fahmi. 2-1 Persebaya memimpin.
Gol ini semakin menambah semangat para pemain Persebaya untuk menambah keunggulan. Namun, Norshahrul dkk dua kali sempat mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menjebol gawang Persebaya. Beruntung, bola belum masuk ke gawang Endra.
Oktavio Dutra memastikan kemenangan Persebaya. Andik kembali menjadi bintang. Berawal dari umpan gelandang Timnas Indonesia itu, Oktavio berhasil menceplos gawang Khairul Fahmi. Sementara Kelantan hanya dapat memperkecil kedudukan lewat Indra Putra, skor menjadi 3-2.

PELATIH BARU TIMNAS INDONESIA
Koordinator timnas, Bob Hippy, akhirnya mengungkapkan siapa yang akan jadi suksesor Rahmad Darmawan sebagai pelatih timnas U-23. Sosok tersebut adalah Aji Santoso, asisten Rahmad ketika menangani timnas U-23 di ajang SEA Games.
Sebenarnya ada beberapa nama yang digadang-gadang untuk melatih "Garuda Muda". Selain Aji, ada nama Nil Maizar, Widodo Cahyono Putro, dan beberapa nama lain.
Bob mengungkapkan, alasan PSSI menunjukan Aji karena dia sebelumnya menjabat asisten Rahmad. Dia, kata Bob, tinggal meneruskan program yang telah diberikan oleh Rahmad. Selain itu, Aji tampaknya memaparkan program yang lebih menarik bagi PSSI.
"Aji menjadi pengganti Rahmad sebagai pelatih di Timnas U-23. Dia akan mulai jalankan tugas Januari nanti. Tapi, penunjukan ini masih akan kita bahas di rapat Exco (Komite Eksekutif). Exco rapat setelah tahun baru. Setelah itu, Aji baru bisa jalankan program," kata Bob ketika dihubungi wartawan, Senin (26/12/2011).
Tantangan pertama Aji sebagai pelatih timnas U-23 adalah Piala AFF Juni tahun depan. Meski persiapan akan terbilang minim, Bob menilai tak akan ada masalah.
